Solar Energy
Solar energy generates electricity by using the sun. An example of how the sun can provide electricity would be the use of solar panels on a house. Solar panels contain water, as the sun raises the temperature of the water in the panels it moves to a storage tank to be used in the house. The steam from high temperatures produce steam that is needed to turn the turbines.
The biggest advantage of solar energy is that its an abundance of it. There is more solar energy available than the world will ever need. Solar energy is versatile because it can be used for food, fuel, light and heat.
The disadvantages of solar energy is that it is very expensive and it requires large areas of land. The solar panels don't work after sunset so the electricity must be stored.
